Niall MerrimanApr 10, 2012 : DublinHey Champ! Great runout at the Masters, just a pity the putter wasn't hot this time eh. Keep up that hard work mate, your doing everyone in the republic proud and i know it won't be long before we see more trophy's.Even though you didn't have too, you yet again showed that padraig harrington is still in the heal of the hunt. Them yank's are afraid bigtime and deep down they know paddy is back and worsed of all he's experienced and more hungry than ever!!! love ya Harry! You have inspired me to get from 10 handicap down to 6 and hopefully a lot lower in the future. You know now that you are ready for anything and your game is ready also, now you just need that spark and for the balls to drop in cup for you.Fair play for all the work you do on and off the course. From your interviews i know you have the ideal attitude and as frankie ses; the best is yet to come!!! Be well my friend all the best Niall. |
Harry ConnollyApr 10, 2012 : Muskerry GCHi Padraig You make Ireland proud at the Masters this year well done . Its upward and onward for you now that you have found your long game . The few short putts missed were the difference in the end. "An old Pro once told me that for the short putts keeping your right shoulder at the same level and not let it dip throughout the swing is one of the keys for consistant putting as it will keep your arms & hands in one unit." Many More Majors Best Regards, Harry Connolly, Muskerry GC, Cork |
Gerry Mc'CreadyApr 10, 2012 : DonegalGreat to see you at your best again in the Masters Padraig. Hopefully we'll see you winning another major in the near future |
David LynchApr 10, 2012 : DundalkHi Padraig, great to see you back in contention in a major. I thought your last round golf was exceptional its just a pity a few of those putts didn't drop. Keep trying and keep smiling and your next win won't be far away and I will keep putting the fiver each way on you. Good Luck |
Mark CoatesApr 10, 2012 : Dublin (Sutton G.C.)Hi Padraig, Delighted to see your form is very good of late. You also had the look of a man who believed he could win the Masters with 9 holes of the final round to play a few shots behind and with men in your way. Great performance, keep it up, regardless of that last 3 putt i knew you did everything to hole it for par. Before my dad died a few years ago the only thing that seemed to wind him up no end was the roller coaster golf from yourself we'd see on tv and the great satisfaction he(we) got was your first Open in 2007. More of the same please. Best of luck for the season ahead. Mark Coates. |
Tim StevensApr 10, 2012 : ParisDear Padraig, wow! Many congratulations on your play at the Masters. First, the 61 a few weeks ago and now a top ten finish at Augusta! No doubt frustrating that the putter let you down - but you have surely demonstrated to yourself and to your fans that you have it in you to become again one of the leading golfers of 2012. It's been hard keeping faith since 2009 - but keeping faith is what it's about, since the answer is within you and nowhere else and you have shown that this year. I hope you've got more tournaments coming up, I'm sure it's important to keep the momentum going. Thanks for a great week and good luck! |

Caroline Golding BradyApr 5, 2012 : Tallaght, Dublin, IrelandDear. Padraig, last year you took the time to shake my dads hand while playing in a tournament in north carolina. You were not aware that my dad was terminslly ill and his battle ended in September just four months after meeting you. our family are thankful that you took the time to stop and pose for a photo with my dad you made his battle with cancer that day worthwhile as he lived his dream to follow you in a tournament. You made a difference! thank you the Golding family |
