Barnaby BlackstoneApr 11, 2009 : Kent, EnglandIn my point of view, Padraig has what it takes to win the masters this year. However i feel that, so far, he is not playing to his full potential. I hope he can improve his game as the masters goes on and hopefully finish on the podium. I bet on him going all the way!!! Barnaby Blackstone, 10 |
Gaston Gibson, JrApr 11, 2009 : Little Rock, ArkansasPadraig, I had the blue ribbon pleasure of playing with you in the Buick Invitational Pro Am in San Diego on 2-4-09. Am watching you in the Masters and pray that you can make it three majors in a row. I wish you the best because you are the best on and off the course. A hello to your caddy Sean and your Agent Adrain Mitchell. It was a pleasure to meet them also. Know you do not have the time to read this email but I just wanted to be counted as a blue ribbon fan, always. |
Mr. BonitaApr 11, 2009 : Florida, USAI was very disappointed with the one stroke penalty ruling (against Padraig) at the Masters. The following comment was submitted to the Masters website, but they apparently chose not to accept it. Hmmm. "The ruling against Padraig Harrington has lowered my opinion re The Rules of Golf. He backed away from the ball, which should erase his previous "address." He was unfairly punished a stroke. Terribly unfair." |
Terry CaseyApr 11, 2009 : Milwaukee WIPadraig, Best of luck this weekend, you are very impressive how you handled the end of the round this afternoon. I hope the best for you. Slainte, Terry Casey |
Peter FitzsimonsApr 11, 2009 : Celbridge County KildareVery best of luck to you Padraig! Just do your best big fella... forget the Paddy-Slam... you've given those of who've been tracking your progress such pride & immense joy over the years. never give up, keep the head up, give a honest account of yourself and hopefully old boy... as a bonus... and with a bit of luck... you never know where you'll be with 9 to go. Having seen you weeping in a carpark many moons ago because you thought you had missed out on a place on the Ireland amatuer team.... I salute your immense determination and courage to persist with your career. Youre a true inspiration. Be rooting for you from beginning to end. Stay cool & have fun! |

Ken FoodyApr 9, 2009 : Salt Lake City, UTI just wanted to send you some good vibes for this week. My name is Ken and I'm a fledgling golf coach among other things. Just wanted to tell you that although you're a great example of determination and hard work - I am far more impressed with what a great guy you seem to be. You've always appeared to be a caring, considerate and humble guy who has never taken for granted his talents and blessings. You never seem to feel like you're better than anyone else and I'm so impressed with how you carry yourself and find myself pulling for you everytime I get to watch you play. Thank you for your example - Best of luck this week! Ken Foody |
Patrick StuhlmillerApr 9, 2009 : Rochester, New YorkI'm pulling for you this week Paddy. My girlfriend and I have had the fortune to work as marshals at a few PGA Championships and last year was one of them. She had the amazing luck to get your signature on her marshal visor (on TUESDAY!) because she knew that you were one of my all time favorite golfers to root for. The best part is, she never had the opportunity to get any other signatures....IMAGINE the luck of that when you took the lead and won it on Sunday! I haven't had the fortune to get to Augusta yet, but I have Friday off, and I will definitely be glued to the big screen all weekend. GO PADRAIG Pat |
Shawn McAdamsApr 9, 2009 : Johnstown, PAYou are a joy to watch and an admirable man. I am a weekend warrior but am continuing on toward my goal, each year getting better. The game is my escape from nursing in the critical care unit. The history and gentlemanly charm of the game along with the friendships make it fun. I hope you win at the masters. I will be watching. God Bless. |

Ciaran McGettiganApr 7, 2009 : Westport, IrelandPadraig, just a quick note to wish you best of luck this week, because no matter how good you are (and you are good) you also need some luck and God smiling on you to win a golf tournament, not to mind a Major. So may the wind be at your back (when needed of course), may the sun always be shining on your golf ball, and may the impressive natural talent that is Mr P Harrington blind the world and come back to Ireland with a brand spanking new Green Jacket(A most suitable colour for and Irishman). All the best from myself, my wife and family and all the members of Westport Golf Club. Ciaran McGettigan |
